De nueva cuenta abre sus puertas el Museo de Concord
En este evento se dio cita una muestra de moda con la propuesta del afamado diseñador juarense Armando Rodríguez
Los componentes en exhibición fueron traídos de los talleres de British Airways, localizados en Birmingham, Inglaterra en el año 2004.
El Centro de Convenciones Injectronic en Ciudad Juárez, abrió sus puertas el Museo del Concord; recibiendo en este evento a autoridades de Gobierno del estado de Chihuahua, así también del municipio de Ciudad Juárez, además de personalidades de la aviación del museo en Santa Teresa en Nuevo México y al director del Centro de Convenciones Injectronic, quienes dieron paso al corte de listón en una ceremonia protocolaria.
En este evento se dio cita una muestra de moda con la propuesta del afamado diseñador juarense Armando Rodríguez, que con más de veinticinco años de trayectoria con colecciones exclusivas, presento a más de quince modelos portando prendas alusivas a uniformes de trabajo de los años sesenta y setenta como código de vestimenta para pilotos y azafatas de diversas líneas aéreas.
La pasarela se presentó con elegancia y distinción. Así mismo, la ceremonia de inauguración, que fue coordinada por Wendy Ramírez, el equipo de Injectronic y Armando Rodríguez, creador de la colección exclusiva de las prendas que se vieron durante el evento cerrando con broche de oro con una deliciosa degustación de bebidas y bocadillos.
Los invitados disfrutaron de esta exhibición para después dar un recorrido por este espacio donde se exhiben algunas piezas concernientes al avión supersónico, llamado así por su efectividad; ya que, viajaba aproximadamente a 2 mil 300 kilómetros por hora, esto es dos veces la velocidad del sonido; asimismo volaba a 17 mil 500 metros de altura y fue diseñado para ciento treinta pasajeros, además de los pilotos y tripulación a cargo; se dice que era uno de los aviones más modernos y dinámicos, un transporte que estuvo en servicio entre los años de 1976 y 2003.
El museo cuenta con una colección de más de doscientas piezas de diferentes tipos, como grandes motores, trenes de aterrizaje, componentes hidráulicos, circuitos eléctricos, asientos y otros más; que fueron traídos especialmente a Ciudad Juárez, cuando los dueños de las aeronaves Concorde, Air France y British Airways donaron más de la mitad de los aviones a diferentes museos. Pero quedaban los componentes de reemplazo, de mantenimiento, de talleres y decidieron subastarlos. Los componentes en exhibición fueron traídos de los talleres de British Airways, localizados en Birmingham, Inglaterra en el año 2004.
Sin duda, fue un evento inolvidable con grandes personalidades y figuras de la frontera.
No deje de visitar El Museo del Concorde en Ciudad Juárez, en el Centro de Convenciones Injectronic ubicado sobre la avenida Antonio J. Bermúdez 2050; todos los sábados en un horario de 10:00 de la mañana a 8:00 de la noche.

The Concord Museum opens its doors once again.
The event included a fashion show with the proposal of the famous Juarense designer Armando Rodriguez.
The components on display were brought from the workshops of British Airways, located in Birmingham, England in the year 2004.
The Injectronic Convention Center in Ciudad Juarez opened its doors the Concord Museum; receiving in this event authorities of the Government of the State of Chihuahua, as well as the municipality of Ciudad Juarez, in addition to personalities of the aviation museum in Santa Teresa in New Mexico and the director of the Injectronic Convention Center, who gave way to the ribbon cutting in a formal ceremony.
In this event there was a fashion show with the proposal of the famous Juarez designer Armando Rodriguez, who with more than twenty-five years of experience with exclusive collections, presented more than fifteen models wearing garments alluding to work uniforms of the sixties and seventies as a dress code for pilots and stewardesses of various airlines.
The catwalk was presented with elegance and distinction. Likewise, the opening ceremony, which was coordinated by Wendy Ramirez, the Injectronic team and Armando Rodriguez, creator of the exclusive collection of garments that were seen during the event, closed with a delicious tasting of drinks and snacks.
The guests enjoyed this exhibition and then took a tour of this space where some pieces concerning the supersonic airplane are exhibited, so called because of its effectiveness; since it traveled approximately 2,300 kilometers per hour, that is twice the speed of sound; it also flew at 17,500 meters high and was designed for one hundred and thirty passengers, plus the pilots and crew in charge; it is said that it was one of the most modern and dynamic aircraft, a transport that was in service between the years 1976 and 2003.
The museum has a collection of more than two hundred pieces of different types, such as large engines, landing gear, hydraulic components, electrical circuits, seats and others; which were brought especially to Ciudad Juarez, when the owners of the Concorde, Air France and British Airways aircraft donated more than half of the planes to different museums. But there were still the replacement, maintenance and workshop components and they decided to auction them. The components on display were brought from the British Airways workshops located in Birmingham, England in 2004.
