The Consulate General of Mexico in El Paso, in collaboration with the El Paso Museum of Art, opened the international exhibition “Frida Kahlo y sus Fotos,” a binational cultural project that highlights the importance of photography in Frida Kahlo’s life and artistic legacy.

Featuring 241 photographs organized into six thematic sections, the exhibition offers an intimate and human perspective on one of the most iconic figures of Mexican art. The arrival of this collection in the border region represents a meaningful opportunity to strengthen cultural dialogue between El Paso and Ciudad Juárez.

An important moment for art, history, and binational cultural exchange.

El Instituto Cultural Andaroen presentó oficialmente su convocatoria para la carrera de Diseño de Modas y Modelaje, una propuesta académica que apuesta por la formación integral y el desarrollo creativo en nuestra región.

El evento incluyó una pasarela especial a cargo de Armando Rodríguez Couture, realizada en honor al maestro Valentino, como un emotivo tributo a su legado y a su invaluable aportación al mundo de la moda.

Durante la presentación, el rector del Instituto, David Rojas, acompañado de la directora compartió la estructura académica de la carrera, las materias que la conforman y la importancia de esta disciplina dentro de la industria actual, acompañado de la directora Ivonne Rojas E. y de la Mtra. Ma. de los Ángeles Negrete, quien forma parte importante de esta nueva etapa educativa.

La rueda de prensa contó también con la presencia de la invitada especial Nitza Valdez, Nuestra Belleza USA 2025 y finalista en Miss Universe Latina 2025, sumando elegancia y proyección internacional al encuentro.
