In the heart of Mexico City, and approximately 15 km from the city’s main square, is the Soumaya Museum, one of the most modern museums that exist in this city with a massive collection of works spanning 30 centuries and ranging from ancient to modern masters.
We toured this precinct that surprised us even before we arrived, as we entered an avenue and noticed this imposing construction with its enormous infrastructure, in the so-called Plaza Carso.
Upon entering we realized the collection of more than 66,000 works, which contains the art on display is admirable, as well as its assembly.
We spent a few hours walking through the various levels, and we could admire each of the floors containing different art, we met people of different nationalities and from this city that accompanied us in each of the levels.
At the same time, we realized that you have to admire the art, but also its architecture and the best thing is that it is one of the museums in the world that is free, so we thought we should come and admire the works for two or three days, to better understand the entire collection, which consists of relics, art pieces, canvases, and photographs.
The truth is that we observe that this museum contains a vast collection of telephones from how this means of communication began to the most current, it also has a collection of coins from pre-Hispanic and colonial times, some furniture, and some artists of the Impressionist era.

In the upper room of the museum where we finished the tour, we were impressed by this collection and the greatness of the museum for housing these collections that deserve to be visited any day of the year.
Un paseo por el Museo Soumaya
En el corazón de la Ciudad de México, y aproximadamente a 15 km del zócalo de la ciudad, se encuentra el Museo Soumaya, uno de los museos más modernos que existen en esta ciudad con una enorme colección además de obras que abarcan 30 siglos y que van desde antiguas hasta maestros modernos.
Recorrimos este recinto que nos sorprendió desde antes de llegar ya que entramos a una avenida y nos percatarnos de esta imponente construcción con su enorme infraestructura, en la llamada Plaza Carso.
Al entrar nos dimos cuenta de la colección de más de 66.000 obras, que contiene y El arte que se exhibe es admirable, así como también por su montaje.
Pasamos unas horas caminando por lo diversos niveles, y pudimos admirar cada uno de los pisos que contiene diferente arte, nos encontrábamos con público de diferentes nacionalidades y, de esta ciudad que nos acompañaban en cada uno de los niveles.
A la misma vez nos dimos cuenta de que hay que admirar el arte, pero así mismo su arquitectura, y lo mejor es uno de los museos en el mundo que es gratuito, por lo que pensamos que habría que venir y admirar las obras por dos o tres días, para comprender mejor toda la colección, que se compone por reliquias, arte objeto, lienzos y fotografías.
Lo cierto es que observamos que este museo contiene una colección enorme de teléfonos desde cómo empezó esta vía de comunicación hasta los más actuales, además cuenta con una colección de monedas de la época prehispánica y colonial, algunos muebles, y algunos artistas de la época impresionista.
Una colección enorme de esculturas y moldes de escultura de Auguste Rodin fuera de Francia y qué decir de la colección privada de arte más grande del mundo.
En la sala superior del museo donde terminamos el recorrido nos impresionó esta colección y la grandeza que tiene el museo por albergar estas colecciones que merecen visitarse cualquier día del año.
