Many came together to honor cancer survivors during an event at Las Palmas Medical Center. The strength and courage of those who have overcome cancer were recognized. In addition, the artwork from the “Corazones Enamorados” exhibit, which joined the cause through Hearts to Be Healed, was presented.
Pamela Moyers highlighted the team that takes care of the patients daily and invited several people to share their testimonies. Among those present were Jose S. Saldivar MD, MPH; Hector Enriquez, director of the Hearts to be Healed Foundation; Mayela Macias, Vice President of Human Resources of Las Palmas; and Alejandro Romero, CEO of HCA Las Palmas. During the event, an exquisite cocktail prepared by the Texas Culinary Institute was offered. It was a unique and unforgettable evening.
