El parque MOUNT RAINIER fue de los primeros en inaugurarse, concretamente el cuarto de toda la unión americana, Actualmente, es por esto que nos dimos a la tarea de visitar este hermoso lugar por espacio de tres días conocimos este hermoso lugar donde practicamos el Senderismo llamado hiking, además de caminar rodeados de la naturaleza, al aire libre y con la libertad y grandeza que nos conduce a admirar uno de los sitios más bonitos de America. 

Llegamos a la ciudad de Seattle por varios días y llegando el fin de semana pudimos recorrer Mt. Rainer y Olimpic National Park, este último un poco más retirado; sin embargo, el paseo fue una experiencia inolvidable.

Mt. Rainier tiene un total de 25 glaciares rodeando la montaña, con lo que sin ninguna duda la hace única en el país. Solo esta increíble montaña genera 6 ríos helados diferentes. El glacial Emmons es el más grande de los 48 estados con una dimensión de 6,6km/4millas. Situado en el centro del estado de Washington, este maravilloso volcán contiene una infinidad de senderos, espectaculares vistas y disfruta de la vegetación en estado puro.

Pues sí, el nombre es perfecto para este lugar, refleja perfectamente el Mt. Rainier como si fuera un espejo. También pudimos visitar un sendero muy bonito y tranquilo, menos transitado que los dos de arriba, que te lleva a la montaña de atrás del lago. Desde allí arriba observamos unas vistas muy bonitas que nos dejará con la boca abierta, una doble imagen del volcán.  Un sendero muy completo de nieve, campos de flores, cascadas y bosque.

Después de ese recorrido nos fuimos al noroeste del país, situado en una península, donde pudimos disfrutar el mismo día de la costa, montañas nevadas, 8 reservas nativas y prácticamente una selva frondosa, dándonos cuenta qué hay muchas actividades para hacer en el parque Nacional de Olympic,. situado más al norte, y uno de los más concurridos del parque, aunque hay dos sitios obligados a visitar:

Hurricane Ridge: Situado también al norte del parque, fue un buen lugar para visitar, sus alrededores y observar tranquilamente las majestuosas montañas nevadas.

Hoh Rainforest: en este caso se encuentra en el lado oeste del parque al final de la carretera principal.

El Sendero Sol Duc es el que más gente recorre para tener una panorámica perfecta de todas las cumbres del parque. Desde arriba, alcanzas a ver los neveros y glaciares que asoman en cada uno de los picos hacia el lado sur.

Y qué decir al disfrutar de las cascadas de Sol Duc, y Lover’s Lane, unas de las mejores cascadas en el parque nacional de Olympic y que más nos gustaron. Una vez que llegamos al sendero, se divide en dos, que hace que sea de un solo sentido, y dentro de minutos puedes observar la caída de agua que está a tan solo unos pasos, donde tienes una perspectiva impresionante entre árboles.

Al regresar disfrutamos un rato en las aguas termales Sol Duc, nos enteramos de que este sitio es reconocido por la UNESCO, como patrimonio cultural de la nación. ¡Sin duda un lugar recomendable y que le recomendamos para tener en su lista de viajes, ya que fue una de las vistas y experiencias más bonitas que hemos disfrutado!. 

ONE OF THE BEST PLACES TO VISIT IS MOUNT RAINIER NATIONAL PARK.

MOUNT RAINIER PARK was one of the first to be inaugurated, specifically the fourth of the entire American Union, currently, this is why we took the task of visiting this beautiful place for three days we met at this beautiful place where we practice hiking, in addition to walking surrounded by nature, outdoors and with freedom and greatness that leads us to admire one of the most beautiful places in the world. We arrived in the city of Seattle for several days and on the weekend, we visited Mt. Rainer and Olympic National Park, the latter a little more retired; however, the walk was an unforgettable experience.

Mt. Rainier has 25 glaciers surrounding the mountain, which undoubtedly makes it unique in the country. This incredible mountain alone generates 6 different frozen rivers. Emmons Glacier is the largest of the 48 states with a dimension of 6.6km/4miles. Located in the center of the state of Washington, this wonderful volcano contains an infinity of trails, and spectacular views and enjoys vegetation in its purest state.

Yes, the name is perfect for this place, it perfectly reflects Mt. Rainier as if it were a mirror. We were also able to visit a very nice and quiet trail, less busy than the two above, which takes you to the mountain behind the lake. From up there we observed some very nice views that will leave us with our mouths open, a double image of the volcano.  It is a complete trail of snow, flower fields, waterfalls, and forest.

After that tour we went to the northwest of the country, located on a peninsula, where we could enjoy the same day of the coast, snowy mountains, 8 native reserves, and practically a lush jungle, realizing that there are many activities to do in the Olympic National Park, located further north, and one of the busiest of the park, although there are two must-see sites: Hurricane Ridge: Also located north of the park, it was a good place to visit, its surroundings and quietly observe the majestic snow-capped mountains. Hoh rain forest: located on the west side of the park at the end of the main road.

Sol Duc Trailhead is the trail that most people hike to have a perfect panoramic view of all the peaks of the park. From the top, you can see the snowfields and glaciers on each of the peaks to the south.

And what can we say about enjoying Sol Duc Falls, and Lover’s Lane Falls, it was the best waterfalls in Olympic National Park and the one we liked the most. Once we arrived, the road split in two, which made it one way, and within minutes you could see the waterfall that is just a few steps away, where you have an impressive perspective between trees.

Upon returning we enjoyed some time in the Sol Duc Hot Springs, we learned that this site is recognized by UNESCO, as a cultural

heritage of the nation. Without a doubt a place that we recommend you have on your travel list, as it was one of the most beautiful sights and experiences we have enjoyed!.
