As part of the 2025 Encuentro en las Fronteras de la Ciencia, el Arte y la Tecnologรญa, actor Guillermo Murray brought the audience to their feet at the Centro Cultural Paso del Norte. His solo performance, Leonardo, drew inspiration from the life and legacy of Renaissance icon Leonardo da Vinci.
For 90 captivating minutes, Murray led the audience through three defining moments in da Vinciโs life. He blended historical depth with humor, emotional expression, and vivid storytelling.
Instead of presenting dry facts, he humanized da Vinciโhighlighting his curiosity, contradictions, and genius. The performance stirred laughter, sparked reflection, and moved many in the crowd, especially the students who made up most of the audience.
A two-by-two-meter cube sculpture by acclaimed artist Sebastiรกn stood at the center of the stage. Far from being just a prop, it acted as a visual anchorโelevating the emotional intensity of the monologue.
