Con el fin de promover el deporte por segunda ocasión se llevó a cabo el torneo de fútbol denominado Copa Consulado 2024. El Consulado de México en El Paso llevó a cabo el exitoso evento en un ambiente de fiesta y amistad.
Niños y jóvenes de la región participaron en un ambiente amistoso en las instalaciones de Westside Sports Complex, ubicado en 201 Isela Rubalcava BLVD.
Más mil deportistas participaron en este torneo de futbol soccer, que ante el gran éxito se realizó este año para celebrar el 5 de mayo. En este complejo varios fueron los campos que abrieron esta contienda deportiva con la participación de más de un millar de deportistas, de ciento veinte equipos, el público disfrutó de cada uno de los juegos del futbol soccer organizados durante dos días, así como de la música y el deleite de comida rápida, agua y bebidas refrescantes.
Con este torneo el Consulado General busca brindar una oportunidad de compartir un espacio de recreación a niños, niñas y jóvenes de la frontera. Además de fortalecer el bienestar físico y salud mental de la comunidad binacional, enfocado a los valores que puedan dejar como un servicio a la comunidad en materia de salud. También se trabajó en brindar el espacio incluyendo a personas con alguna discapacidad, participando varios equipos integrados por hombres o mujeres en este torneo.
Al término de esta contienda deportiva las autoridades consulares y deportivas entregaron reconocimientos y trofeos a los equipos ganadores de las diversas categorías.

More than a thousand athletes participated in this soccer tournament, which due to its great success was held this year to celebrate May 5th. In this complex there were several fields that opened this sporting contest with the participation of more than a thousand athletes from one hundred and twenty teams, the public enjoyed each of the soccer games organized for two days, as well as the music and the delight of fast food, water and soft drinks.
With this tournament, the Consulate General seeks to provide an opportunity to share a recreational space for children and young people of the border. In addition to strengthening the physical well-being and mental health of the binational community, focusing on the values that they can leave as a service to the community in terms of health. We also worked to provide the space including people with disabilities, with the participation of several teams composed of men and women in this tournament.
At the end of this sporting event, the consular and sports authorities presented awards and trophies to the winning teams in the various categories.
